Grateful if arrangements can be made for secondment to this Government of Prince and Avery, assistant engineers, who are understood to be in Bombay and available for employment. This Government would pay the same salary as if the officers had been originally appointed to Kenya plus pension contributions. Services are required as reliefs for Public Works Department staff at present seconded to the Army and appointments are necessary because of increased demands by Service Departments on Public Works Department for engineering work.
